Last updated November 6, 2026
This policy explains how Ridgeline Films LLC ("Ridgeline Films," "we," "us") collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit ridgelinefilms.co or ridgelinefilms.app (the "Sites") or contact us. Questions? Email info@ridgelinefilms.app.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you fill out a form, we collect what you enter. That can include your name, email, phone number, company, website, project details, budget and timeline. For home-service businesses, it can also include your service area and business details.
Information collected automatically
When you visit, we and our service providers collect device and usage information. That includes IP address, approximate location (country and region), browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, campaign tags (such as UTM parameters and ad click IDs), and how you interact with the Sites. We collect it with cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy.
Consent records
When you make a cookie choice, we record it with a random visitor ID, the date, your approximate region, and the policy version. This is how we honor your choice and show that we did.
How we use information
- To respond to inquiries, prepare proposals and provide our services.
- To run, secure and improve the Sites, including preventing spam and abuse.
- To understand how visitors use the Sites (analytics).
- To measure and improve our advertising, including on Meta and Google, where you allow it.
- To send occasional news or case studies, only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To comply with law and protect our rights.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information for money. We share it with service providers that help us run our business, under contracts that limit how they use it:
- Cloudflare: hosting, security, spam protection (Turnstile), web analytics and form storage.
- Google: Google Workspace (email and spreadsheets where we keep inquiries), Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
- Meta: the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, which measure our ads and build ad audiences. Only with your consent where it's required.
- Microsoft: Microsoft Clarity, which shows us how visitors use pages (for example heatmaps and session replays). Only with your consent where it's required.
Sharing data with advertising partners such as Meta for cross-context behavioral advertising may count as "sharing" under California law. You can opt out at any time; see "Your choices" below. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer.
Your choices
- Cookie settings: change your choices anytime with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.
- Do Not Sell or Share: use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link at the bottom of every page to opt out of advertising cookies and sharing.
- Global Privacy Control: we treat a browser's Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out of sale and sharing. Other "Do Not Track" signals are not standardized, so we rely on GPC.
- Emails: every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information. You may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. California residents can make these requests too. To make a request, email info@ridgelinefilms.app. We'll verify your request and respond within the time the law requires. You can use an authorized agent.
Visitors in the EU, UK and other regions with similar laws: we process personal information on the basis of your consent (analytics and advertising cookies), our legitimate interests (answering inquiries, securing the Sites), and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. Your information is processed in the United States. You can complain to your local data protection authority.
Retention
We keep inquiry information for as long as we need it to respond and work with you, generally up to three years after our last contact unless the law requires longer. We keep consent records for up to three years. Analytics providers keep data under their own retention settings; we use the shortest practical setting.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is completely secure.
Children
The Sites are for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We'll post any changes here and update the date above. If a change is significant, we'll ask for your cookie choices again.
